Composer Sven Helbig presents listeners of his weekly radio show ›Schöne Töne‹ on Berlin's Radio Eins with music he discovers on his musical adventures. Classical orchestral music meets electronica, ambient and experimental music in an original and effortless way. Together with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Helbig will bring his ›Schöne Töne‹ live to the stage at the Haus des Rundfunks twice in the 2023/2024 season. Sven Helbig will host the evening, welcoming exciting musical guests and telling anecdotes from his seemingly endless treasure trove of music stories.
On November 10, Helbig welcomes Pet Shop Boys vocalist Neil Tennant for two live premieres: ›Cricket Wife‹, a piece written by Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant for voice and orchestra, and an orchestral version of ›Legacy‹, originally arranged by Owen Pallett for the 2009 album ›Yes‹. Pet Shop Boys released the remastered reissue of "Relentless" on October 20th, 2023. It celebrating the 30th anniversary of an album which occupies a legendary status in their catalogue.
"Relentless" comes in folloving formats: a limited-edition yellow vinyl is available to buy exclusively via the Pet Shop Boys store and there’s a CD and an online digital release.
Pet Shop Boys comment: “This album was an experiment for us 30 years ago with its six new extended dance tracks. We’re very proud of it and delighted it’s now getting the stand-alone release it deserves.”

Pet Shop Boys released "SMASH – The Singles 1985-2020" – the complete collection of their singles in chronological order on June 16th 2023.

The four songs, “The lost room”, “I will fall”, “Skeletons in the closet” and “Kaputnik” were written and recorded as demos in London and Berlin in 2015 for potential inclusion on the album “Super” but weren’t included “not because we didn't like them,” according to Neil Tennant, “but because they didn't fit the album.” The decision to release them now as an EP was made because “they all sit together quite well, production-wise, they're all super-electronic,” and also because “some of them are sort of relevant to the world at the moment.”
The EP takes its title “Lost” from the first song, “The lost room”, but “it also seems to represent a sort of larger, philosophical or political point, where there've been times recently where the world feels a bit lost in terms of the direction it's going in.”

Pet Shop Boys remixed Wolfgang Tillmans' song ''Insanely Alive''. Remixes were released on May 20th as digital download and 12'' vinyl. Video directed Tillmans and filmed in his studio together with editor Michael Amstad. In past, Tillmans directed the music video for PSB's single ''Home And Dry'', and contributed the cover artwork for their remix album ''Disco 3''.

Pet Shop Boys and their song “West End girls” feature in a new fashion campaign revealed today by brands Calvin Klein and Palace, as part of their collaboration CK1 Palace.
The campaign shot by Alasdair McLellan includes globally renowned faces such as Willem Dafoe, Lucien Clarke, Precious Lee, the Pet Shop Boys and further explores the „cities in a cheeky and irreverent narrative chronicling the dualities of New York and London, as the cast of characters stand proudly in their own unique identities while navigating their lives and unexpectedly crossing paths.“

Neil Tennant have been made an Honorary Doctor of Letters by Durham University in a ceremony in Durham Cathedral on March 31st, 2022.

Pet Shop Boys and the synth duo Soft Cell got together for the first time to release a single "Purple Zone" on March 22nd. Track is written by Soft Cell with remix production by Pet Shop Boys. The track features the vocals of both Marc Almond and Neil Tennant. “Purple Zone” is now available digitally. CD na 12" will be released on November 11th 2022. This year Pet Shop Boys wished Happy New Year in form of a digital Christmas card. Song/wish is based on Christina Rossetti's poem "Love came down at Christmas" and is composed by Neil and Chris.

Pet Shop Boys have rescheduled the dates for their Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live tour which will now take place in 2022.
The tour, which had already been rescheduled once due to the continuing coronavirus pandemic, will see the duo play UK and European shows next summer as part of their first ever greatest hits tour.
The shows kick off in Milan on May 10th and close in Vancouver on October 16th. Tickets for the original shows will remain valid for the new dates.
